This distinctiveness of music makes it more unique as you can have all sort of spices added up in a pleasant way whether it is local, country side, classical or modern pop music.
Though, the target audience for every composition is different, but still there are songs, which gain global popularity, irrespective of the language, origin or ethnicity. Thus, we can say that music is directly related to the emotional being in every human being.
Gender is also involved as a determinant factor, as girls are more likely to appreciate and choose music which is soft, melodious and romantic. Boys on the other hand, without any music help, like music which is intense, motivating and sensational.
Naturally, music needs and trends also change with different mood swings and age levels. Choice of music also depends on the type of personality. Gloomy, slow and classical music with more concentration on lyrics is most likely to be the choice of people who are less social, peace loving, and intellectual.
People, who are excited about outgoing, have an activity based lifestyle, are social and interactive; like fast, pop music with heavy guitar works. The choices of these people keep on changing on a regular pace, and they are more reliant on the music questions as what is new in the music industry.
Creating music up to the fluctuating needs of a huge market is not an easy job. Those who enter this field must have some extra bit of knowledge, a real creative mind, and a passion about music. Acquiring some music help is also a good idea in order to be successful in this field.

Government grants are the subsidies, cost-sharing programs, loans, incentives, and rebates which the government gives its citizens for carrying out various developmental and assistance activities mostly for non-profit and cultural ventures. One may ask, “do I need to repay them?” and the answer to that is ‘No’! These government grants are however not given to anybody for anything. One has to meet very detailed specifications and the government agencies monitor how the money is being spent. Canada grants are given out to citizens by agencies and foundations all over the country but most Canadians don’t even know such a system exists!
Many government grants are available for setting up and expansion of small businesses. Finance ranges between $1000 to $10 million for purposes of purchasing equipment, real estate, supplies, machinery, technical help, office lease, renovation, transport, and computer support. Canada grants are given for feasibility study programs which include financial, engineering and market analysis or a combination of all of them. Cost-sharing up to 75% of the total expenditure is done. A young entrepreneurs program is functional according to which the government of Canada gives grants up to $4000 to entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 29 to aid them in starting full-time businesses.
These government grants are given keeping in mind the development of society and hence are easily obtained by the projects which are beneficial for social and cultural development. Canada grants ranging up to $100,000 are available for women in Canada to assist the setting up and expansion of a business. Special grants named as Aboriginal Business Canada are available for clients of aboriginal heritage. The client can be First Nation, Métis or Inuit. Non-repayable funding up to $99,999 are presented per project. Many specific government grants have been designed to develop the First Nation, Inuit, and Metis communities.
The government of Canada has many government grants meant for research and development in various fields. Going Global Science and Technology Fund, External Research Program, NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), Moving on Sustainable Transportation Program (MOST), and Sustainable Development Innovations Fund (SDIF) are some of them. Another grant of the same nature is the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program which is a federal tax incentive program. It seeks to encourage businesses of all sizes in Canada to conduct reasearch and development to bring about improved and advanced products and processes.
Many government grants are available in the art and culture fields. There are funds to support Canadian music, visual arts, performing arts, film, television, and magazines. The artists or the art presenting organizations can present the proposal to the government and if the criteria are met they will be financially supported. Canada grants like the Multiculturism Program seek to promote ethno-racial diversity and encourage participation of the minorities in the public decision-making.
Environmental causes are given special emphasis and any organization or group which wants to carry out projects on innovative means of waste reduction and pollution control can get assistance up to $50,000 once the proposal is approved by the Ministry of Conservation.
Why study music?
Why join in pop guitar classes in Singapore? Do we need to? Why study pop music classes in the first place? These questions are plaguing the minds of most students who are probably thinking the same thing while in music class.
Yet the solutions to these queries are basic. We learn music because it is around us, it is a general language told in every tongue, in every culture. It is inherent, vibrant and convincing. When we listen to famous songs on the radio, doesn’t it make us desire to sing or dance along. Songs can soften the heart of even the strongest bad guy, it is strong.
Most of us are acquainted with the five essential areas of study: mathematics, language, literature, physical science and arts. Music go to the arts and is one of the field’s most dominant forms of expression. In other words, music is a manifestation of the soul.
Originality and Self-expression
Those of us who are finished with school would say that we have been sufficiently educated in mathematics, language, literature and science. But in those fields a right answer is always needed. There is always a right and a wrong. 1+1 is always equal to 2. But, in music, no correct answer is required. Tunes brings steadiness to a class where precision is expected because harmony can tolerate mistakes.
These mistakes in turn, permit us to express ourselves without fright or judgment. It permits us to produce something that calms, go well with and reflects our character. Say for example that you intend on joining up pop guitar programs in Singapore. The guitar can be an instrument to show your likes and dislikes. Do you like classical music, rock or folk music? Do you like to be a rock performer, a country singer or a music writer? Another benefit of learning to play an instrument like the guitar is that it creates an opportunity for us to achieve something. You can proudly say: “I can perform the pop guitar”. The sense of having reached something through hardwork is a high that lasts for a long time.
Sharing Your Talents
Being competent to play an instrument like the guitar and performing that instrument for your friends is an experience few of us can take pleasure in. Being able to express your inventiveness through music is a cool activity.
Understanding to perform the guitar is one of the things nobody can ever steal away from you. It is yours for life. Learning to perform an instrument affirm your distinctiveness, and the study of music permits us to learn that uniqueness within us all. Wait no longer, join for pop guitar classes in Singapore now!

As I get to know more about MOA (Music Online Alive), which is a platform for artistes from the world of music not just to be able to independently create market and distribute their virtual albums online, but even interact with their fans and fellow artistes, I discover that my journey is endless.
It’s like an artist lets loose his canvas midway through his journey to an ocean of enthusiasts and other better or worse peers, to have a go at walking some distance with him. Or then a film maker putting up half his film shot and loosely edited online and inviting whoever wishes to, to jump into the process with him/her to take the story further. If you are an artiste as secure with his craft as Peter Saltzman is as a pianist, then you can let float an idea online, and enjoy while others take it from one level to another, as you take the same idea, through your own interpretation.
Man, the world is getting closer than I thought and art can now be, not just experienced collectively, but even created collectively by varied people from different corners of the world without them even having met each other.
As I revel in the possibility as an artiste myself, who can’t wait to release an idea in my head online, and create one piece of fiction while people I don’t know, but who may be interested, take the same story I am writing forward, in different forms and styles, I choose to chat with Peter, who I find on Skype almost immediately after the thought crosses my mind.
I want to know what Piano Diaries, his blog, on MOA is about. And you can read his answer in an American accent, as I reproduce it verbatim for you here.
“The inspiration for Piano Diaries… umm… ah! well, actually, the very first album I thought of, for MOA, the virtual album platform, when we were developing it was Piano Diaries… and it was even in my prototypes of images which I developed and we did an early alpha prototype back in 2008 before I met all the people in India…” (he takes a long pause)… “and that was the very first album… and the idea is that, unlike a conventional album, or CD… the virtual album is of course a dynamic ongoing album, and the obvious candidate for that from my standpoint, as a musician, composer and pianist, and singer, songwriter was Piano Diaries, like a Piano Blog… that I could just add entries to, whenever I felt like it… I think ideally on a daily basis, in reality that does not happen…. but the entries are essentially all improvised, kind of whats on my mind… musically that day, and I then, try to tie in some little pithy remark about that… sometimes there’s some connection going through my mind with the music and I put that down in the track notes, so, it’s really like a piano diary… its just… not structured, not planned… just kind of what goes on in my head musically on any given day… and thats the history behind it…”
Peter, the founder and CEO of Music Online Alive smiles as he relaxes back in his chair and continues, “now… interesting thing is, I believe that this is a really a great prototype for MOA, not only from artistic, but a commercial standpoint, and I think artists need to think about… you know… in a dynamic format like the web… where things are constantly being reinvented… redone… what can you do with it? What can you to with a format which is not static like the CD and the LP… but can grow all the time?… And this is just one idea… I’m sure a guitarist could do the same thing, or a songwriter could put down short songs everyday… different kinds of things that you could rethink the formats that you could put your music in, in as dynamic a format as the web…” he trails on… and leaves me thinking of the painters, writers, film makers, singers and creative people from all forms of performing and non performing arts who are missing out on so much because none of us has a Peter who has actually put together Music Online Alive for musicians, composers, songwriters from all over the world to experience what it is like to play with people who love their art as much as they do, and a fan base which appreciates it as well.
